Are you connected to Wifi?

Its Wednesday! We had a 6am wake up call, Yay sleep in! We arrived at our hotel last night around 9:30, I was sound asleep on the bus when we arrived! Once we checked in I finished working on the blog and posted it. When we arrived in our room it was so hot! In order for the electricity to work, including AC you need to have the room key in a slot. Once it's placed there the electricity works. So Mary and I left it in while we went to the lobby to finish our blogs! Then went to bed in a room that was cooler then when we first arrived. We also had issues with the light boxes. All the lights are turned on and off by one control panel. The problem with this is when you shut off all the lights you also shut off the outlets. We had to do some problem solving to figure out which lights we needed to keep on ( or the outlets they were plugged into) in ordered to charge our cameras and iPads! We were successful!

Mary and I have had troubles with the control panels in every hotel but we always problem solve it!

We had breakfast, it was a buffet, like everyday! Then we were on our way. We went to Sukhothai Historical Park. The temples we saw were all at least 700 years old! The ruins were pretty cool to visit. Wat Mahathat was the biggest set of ruins we saw.

This is Wat Si Sawai.

After our tour we had a very long bus journey to Kanchanaburi. About 6 hours. We stopped by a wonderful restaurant on a river for lunch! It was peaceful. We also saw farmers blocking the highway to Bangkok. They were protesting. We arrived at our hotel at 8:30pm. We had a lovely dinner on the river, on a floating barge restaurant!

Tomorrow we are visiting the Mon Village School! Going on a train ride along the Death Valley. I'm excited!
